vibration Measurment

why measure motor Vibrations

many higher rating motors like blower motors in the paintbooth, run at such a height where easy approach is not there ,if these motors are misalligned or belt is worn would lead to vibrations which would eventually increase the motor current ,can lead to early failure of motor bearing .

Vibrations ,Where to measure?

Moving Parts

Motors & Pulleys

Avoid Premature Bearing Failure

Save electrical Energy

vibration monitoring sensors

sensonic

advanced 4-20mA vibration transmitters, or loop powered sensors, are engineered for use with the latest PLC (programmable logic controller), BMS (building management system), or SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) technologies, offering sophisticated solutions for condition monitoring and preventative maintenance.

Does only vibrations Measurments are enough?

Projects done in Vibration Monitoring

Vibration monitoring of turbines using Sensonics sensors

Senors,Mitsubishi Sentry their proprietory vibration monitoring hardware with modbus output and possibility to connect multiple field device FX5U-PLC, sentry & Xarrow SCADA & Sentry.

Real time values historic trends are stored in SCADA.Real time values are monitored against set values to trigger Alarms to avoid breakdown failure of parts

Vibration monitoring using Hansford Acceleromoter ,PLC & SCADA at Mahindra & Mahindra (rudrapur)

here we monitored the vibrations levels in scada for 28 motors against predefinded setpoint in SCADA. Alarms ,Historic Trends allows predicitive maintenace to be done .

equipments vibrations level can be measure by installing the acelerometer from companies like Hansford Sensonics they have 4 to 20ma output which is scalled and fed to PLC analog input.
